Prior to moving into Crown’s new offices off of Ashford-Dunwoody Road in Atlanta, the owners wanted to rebrand their identity. I had personally not wanted to create a literal crown in the logo. I was thinking something more subtly suggestive of royalty — a battle standard or a castle archway. Although a last minute executive decision took the logo in a completely different direction, the process was smooth and pride was preserved on both sides. The resulting logo was applied to building signage, corporate collateral and multiple websites.
